Experimental Analysis on Partial Replacement of Fine
Raman et al. studied the strength and durability properties of highstrength rice husk ash concrete incorporating quarry dust as a partial substitute for sand and suggested an optimum replacement level of 20%. Singh et al. suggested optimum replacement level for fine sand by granite dust is 25% for compressive strength and Strength and Workability Properties of Concrete Replaced ,The main objective of this research is to provide more information about the effects of various proportion of dust content as partial replacement of natural sand. In this investigation quarry dust is collected from local stone crushing units. It was initially dry in condition and Specific gravity was observed for quarry dust is 2.54. GGBSBEHAVIOUR OF PAVER BLOCKS WITH PARTIAL ,This present work is an attempt to use quarry dust as a Partial replacement of sand in concrete. Using this, reduction of cost and safe disposal of material is achieved. The experimental investigations were carried out by replacing sand with quarry dust in various percentage as 0%, 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, 50%. The effect of using quarry dust
Studies on quarry dust as partial
Quarry dust can be used as an economic alternative to the natural sand. In this investigation an attempt is made to utilize quarry dust as a partial substitute for Sagar Panchal1, Molly Mathew2 IJSER,river sand and quarry dust is quite suitable partial substitute for river sand at low cost. The measured values of quarry dust concrete with constant water cement ratio at 0.44 are found to be 80, 75, 70, 65, 60, 60 mm for different mixes such as Mix 1(0% quarry dust), Mix 2(10% quarry dust),An Experimental Study on Partial Replacement of Sand ,River sand is costly due to transportation, large scale depletion of resources and enforcement regulations. Quarry dust can be used as an alternative to the river sand. Cost analysis shows that there is 40% savings if quarry dust is used instead of sand. In this research work, physical, chemical, morphological, and mechanical behavior as partial replacement of fine aggregate in concrete. Stone dust was acquired from three different sources i.e. Nowshera, Dara, and Besai, while concrete was kept at a ratio of 1:2:4 and water to cement ratio at 0.5 as per ASTM standards for considerable workability.Physical properties of quarry rock dust and natural sand,Download scientific diagram Physical properties of quarry rock dust and natural sand from publication: Effect of characterization properties on compressive strength of concrete containing quarryPARTIAL REPLACEMENT OF SAND BY QUARRY DUST IN ,partial replacement of sand by Quarry dust by 20%, 30%, 40% and 50%. Use of marble and granite dust waste as partial
Influence of replacement of sand with marble and granite dust on the strength behaviour on concrete was studied at curing ages 7 and 28 days and the results are compared with conventional concrete blocks. A 20% replacement of fine aggregates with marble and granite dust mixture resulted in 23.34% and 14.4% increase in compressive Utilization of quartzite dust powder and marble ,of marble and quarry rock dust. Concrete made up of marble sludge and quarry dust has high resistance to sulphate attack [6]–[8]. Marble powder is used as a partial replacement for cement to study the effect on the properties of fresh and hardened concrete. Up to 15% replacement of marble powder to cement increased compressive strength whenThe Utilization of Quarry Dust as Fine Aggregates in ,It was concluded that the partial replacement of sand with quarry dust in the 50% 50% (Mix 3) ratio was the most effective and showed an increase in compressive strength. It was also concluded that the compressive strength of concrete, with 50% Sand and 50% quarry dust (Mix 3), under thermo shock and high temperature showed the least
